Znany z polskiego opisu patentowego nr 109 289 srodek do rafinacji miedzi lub jej stopów zawiera ciezarowo: 60—100% fluorokrzemianu sodu, 0—25% kriolitu, 0^10D/o chlorku potasu, 0—10% chlorku sodu, 0—10% chlorku wapnia, 0—40% krze¬ mionki oraz 0—30% lacznie fluorku sodu, tlenku magnezu, sadzy i grafitu. "Uziairnienie wszystkich skladników mieszaniny nie' przetaacza 1,5 mm.
Do odtlenienia stosuje sde sód metaliczny w ilosci od 0,02 do 0,04% ciezarowych, w stosunku do.ma¬ sy wsadu metalowego.
Znany jest równiez srodek ochronny i rafinujacy powierzchnie zawierajacy boraks 40% ciezarowych weglan sodu 40% ciezarowych di piasek 30% ciezarowych (J. Jetmlielewski — Oddewinictwo me¬ tali niezelaznych WNT W-wa 1970 r. str. 346 tabl. 10—4).
