Description

DABCO w temperaturze pokojowej w ciagu 10 minut. DABCO w temperaturze pokojowej w ciagu 10 minut. Dalsza obróbka jak w przykladzie I.Zastrzezenie patentowe Sposób uzdatniania papieru na podloze fotograficzne, znamienny tym, ze papier napawa sie roz¬ tworem toluilenodwuizocyjanianu albo toluilenodwuizocyjanianu zawierajacego 80% wag. izomeru 2,4- i 20% wag. izomeru glównie 2,6- albo roztworem adduktu powstalego w wyniku reakcji 1 mola trójmetylopropanu z 3 molami toluilenodwuizocyjanianu w bezwodnych rozpuszczalnikach organicznych takich jak aceton i dio¬ ksan, a nastepnie nadmiar grup izocyjanianowych dzialaniem alkoholu etylowego albo metylowego albo propylo¬ wego przeprowadza sie w grupy uretanowe.Prac. Poligraf. UP PRL naklad 120+18 Cena 45 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of treating paper for a photographic substrate. There are known methods of treating paper for a photographic substrate. Paper for the photographic substrate should meet a number of requirements. First of all, it should not have adsorbed heavy metals, mainly iron, magnesium, lead, etc. Paper for a photographic substrate is produced using equipment ensuring no contact with metal parts, it is rinsed several times with distilled water, etc. All is to avoid contamination with heavy metals. Paper normally produced in paper mills has heavy metal contamination which is even in running water. These metals are adsorbed in the channels of cellulose, because we know that cellulose is a very good sorbent. When the photosensitive emulsion is applied to paper that is not suitable for photographic purposes, heavy metal ions partially desorb, which causes the formation of stains, smoke, etc., so the substrate is unsuitable for photographic purposes. The aim of the invention is to eliminate all negative effects of ordinary paper by developing a new method of treating paper on photographic substrate. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the paper is impregnated with a solution of toluene diisocyanate or toluene diisocyanate containing 80 wt. % of the 2,4- and 20 wt% isomer. isomer, mainly 2.6 or a solution of an adduct formed by reacting 1 mole of trimethylpropane with 3 moles of toluene diisocyanate in anhydrous organic solvents such as acetone and diocasane, and then the excess isocyanate groups are converted into groups by treatment with ethyl, methyl or propyl alcohol. The technical advantage of the invention is a simple method of eliminating the harmful effects of contaminated cellulosic substrate by chemical reaction at room temperature. III feels at 6 wt. with a solution of TDI -80 (toluene diisocyanate, 80% of the 2,4- isomer and 20% of the isomers mainly 2,6-) in acetone at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then the excess of unreacted isocyanate groups is reacted with ethyl alcohol in such a way that paper without drying, after pressing it is transferred to a 96% ethyl alcohol bath with the addition of 0.001% by weight. DABCO catalyst (diazobicyclo (2,2,2) octane) to accelerate the reaction. The bath time in ethyl alcohol is 10 minutes. On-2 110 651 step-step substrate is rinsed with 96% ethyl alcohol within 5 minutes. After drying, the substrate showed no negative effect on the photographic emulsion compared to the untreated paper. Example II. Domestic paper as in example I is processed in 6 wt.%. a solution of TDI -80 in dioxane at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then, after pressing, it is subjected to a bath in 96% ethyl alcohol with the addition of 0.001% by weight. DABCO at room temperature within 10 minutes. Further processing as in example I. Example III. Domestic paper, as in example I, is impregnated with 3 wt. solution of polyisocyanate PTW (PTW isocyanate is an adduct which is formed by reacting 1 mole of trimethylpropane with 3 moles of tolylene diisocyanate) in acetone at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then after drying it is subjected to a bath in 96% ethyl alcohol with the addition of 0.001 wt.% DABCO, at room temperature within 10 minutes. Further treatment as in example I. After drying, the substrate showed no negative effect on the photographic emulsion compared to the untreated paper. Example IV. Domestic paper, as in example I, is impregnated with 3 wt. with a solution of PTW in dioxane at room temperature for 5 minutes, and then, after pressing, it is subjected to a bath in 96% ethyl alcohol with the addition of 0.001% by weight. DABCO at room temperature within 10 minutes. Further treatment as in example I.
