Przedmiotem wzoru przemyslowego jest podstawka pod naczynia stolowe, elementy ozdobne, miedzy innymi wazony, figurki szklane, naczynia na napoje, szczególnie pod szklanki i kieliszki. Typowe podstawki pod naczynia takie jak szklanki i kieliszki maja za zadanie chronic stoly, na których stawia sie naczynia, przed zabrudzeniem lub zamoczeniem. Moga równiez spelniac funkcje ozdobna i w dzisiejszych czasach stanowia element nierozlacznie zwiazany np. z podawaniem piwa czy drinków. Podstawki te sa albo jednorazowego uzytku, szczególnie wykonane z papieru imitujacego serwetke lub wielokrotnego uzytku najczesciej wykonane ze szkla, tworzyw sztucznych lub kartonu. Podstawki te czesto pelniac funkcje reklamowa opatrzone sa markami firm, których napoje sa na podstawkach podawane. Podstawka wedlug wzoru przemyslowego, nadajaca sie do wielokrotnego uzytku, wykonana jest w postaci bryly o malej wysokosci i scianie bocznej prostopadlej do podloza, na powierzchni górnej, na której ustawia sie naczynie np. szklanke czy kieliszek, w czterech rogach umieszczone sa cztery zródla swiatla, w kazdym rogu jedno, korzystnie dioda. Podstawka w widoku z góry ma ksztalt kwadratu. Zródla swiatla w trakcie uzytkowania podstawki, zasilane zródlem pradu, swieca swiatlem o dowolnym kolorze. Jako zródlo pradu moze byc stosowana plaska bateria lub akumulator. Ustawione w lub napodstawce naczynie, szczególnie naczynie posiadajace na swej powierzchni rzniecia lub karby, przekazuje swiatlo dochodzace od spodu naczynia do samego jego brzegu. Szklanka z napojem lub kieliszek podswietlony przez podstawke nabiera bardzo atrakcyjnego wygladu i jest z dala widoczny. Typical coasters for glasses and stemware are designed to protect the tables on which the dishes are placed from getting dirty or wet. They can also serve a decorative purpose and are now an integral part of serving beer or drinks, for example. These coasters are either disposable, particularly those made of paper imitating napkins, or reusable, most often made of glass, plastic, or cardboard. These coasters often serve an advertising function and bear the brands of the companies whose drinks are served on them. This industrial-style, reusable stand is designed as a low-height solid with a side wall perpendicular to the ground. The top surface, on which a vessel, such as a glass or shot glass, is placed, houses four light sources in each corner, one in each corner, preferably a LED. Viewed from above, the stand is square. Powered by a power source, the light sources emit light of any color when the stand is in use. A flat battery or accumulator can be used as a power source. A vessel placed in or on the stand, especially one with grooves or notches on its surface, transmits light from the bottom of the vessel to its very rim. A glass of drink or a shot glass illuminated by the stand takes on a very attractive appearance and is visible from a distance. Figure 1 shows the base in a top view.
