Abstract

The present utility model relates to an earthquake-resistant columnar structure capable of improving drift ductility of a building structural column and a construction method thereof. The earthquake-resistant columnar structure includes at least a plurality of longitudinal main bars, a plurality of outer column reinforcement stirrups, and at least one inner binding reinforcement stirrup, where the longitudinal main bars are perpendicular to the ground and parallel spaced; and the outer column reinforcement stirrups and the inner binding reinforcement stirrups are sleeved on the longitudinal main bars. The outer column reinforcement stirrup is a quadrilateral structure unit formed by bending a piece of rebar into the shape of a multi-squared net, and the inner binding reinforcement stirrup is formed by bending another piece of rebar. By use of a special bearing column structure of the earthquake-resistant columnar structure of the present utility model, it is only required to increase the rebar quantity by 5 pcnt to 35 pcnt , to enhance the drift ductility of the building structural column nearly three times. Besides, the present utility model ensures the construction quality required according to a design sketch and effectively improves the construction efficiency, thus reducing the total cost of the structural column.
