Abstract

Disclosed is an instructional device for learning number concepts comprising a plurality of objects in which each of said objects corresponds to the shape of Arabic Numerals 1 through 9. Each object has a shaped perforation or a plurality of shaped perforations the number of which being the number to which the object corresponds. The shaped perforations may be any shape such as star, circle, square, diamond, or any common fruit such as apple, orange, or banana. Said instructional device for learning number concepts has a detachable member or a plurality of detachable members which can be inserted through each of said shaped perforations. Each detachable member has the size and shape corresponding to the size and shape of said shaped perforation or the plurality of shaped perforations in the objects.
