Abstract

To provide a cooling-only air conditioning system that restrains a reduction in reliability. An air conditioning system (100) performs a cooling operation by performing a refrigeration cycle in a refrigerant circuit (RC) and is equipped with an indoor unit (30) and an outdoor unit (10). The indoor unit (30) has an indoor heat exchanger (33). The outdoor unit (10) has a compressor (11) and an outdoor heat exchanger (12). The refrigerant circuit (RC) includes an outdoor-side primary circuit (RC1). The outdoor side primary circuit (RC 1) is disposed in the outdoor unit (10). The outdoor-side primary circuit (RC1) includes the compressor (11) and the outdoor heat exchanger (12). An automatic refrigerant charging circuit (RL) is disposed in the outdoor unit (10). The automatic refrigerant charging circuit (RL) is a circuit for automatically charging the refrigerant circuit (RC) with refrigerant. The automatic refrigerant charging circuit (RL) communicates with the outdoor-side primary circuit (RC 1).
