Abstract

Disclosed is the utility model device of the Multi-Function Shears with tape measure attach to the handle of the scissor and a measurement embedded on the blade of the multi-function shears.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD Ce

The present utility model relates to a shears, but moye particularly to a multi-function shears having a retrievable and cgllapsible tape measure enclosed in the handle and graduated blades.

BACKGROUND OF THE UTILITY MODEL

This utility model relates to a device for cutting, and more particularly for cutting fabrics with tape measure and with engrave measurement in upper and lower blade.

Shears are ordinarily made of metals use for cutting fabrics and other accessories for garments and the tape measure is a tool for measuring any fabrics or garments and in drafting pattern. This device can contribute to the economy of the Philippines for this is new and now we are on the process of preserving the Filipino ingenuity in creative arts.

Producing this multi-function shears utility model will be significant to a number of people whose occupational job is along the making of a garments.

Fig. 1 is a schematic view of elongated shape of multi-function shears as utility model.

Fig. 3 is an exploded view showing the connection of the parts to the different parts of the multi-function shears.

Detailed description of the Utility Model

Referring now to the several views of the drawing, there is shown in figure1 a schematic view of elongated shape of multi-function shears as utility model. Figure 2 a sectional view of multi-function shears and the inter-relationships of its parts. Figure 3 an exploded view showing the connection of the parts to the different parts of the multi-function shears.

Each showing the multi-purpose shears 100, characterized in that the improvement comprises a handle 10, that can be made of metal, plastic or any suitable material. The handle is being defined by an enclosure 12 that houses the tape measure. A roller 14 is disposed within the enclosure 12. A tape measure 16 is being rolled around and in communication with the roller 14. The tape measure 16 is being configured so that it can be pulled out from the enclosure 12. A means 18 is being provided to retrieve the tape measure 16 within the enclosure 12.To further improve the functionality of the shears 100, a measurement graduation 20 is provided in each blade 30 of the shears. This can be done through engraving, printing, or embossing.

I Claim

1. A multi-purpose shears (100), having a pair of blades (30), comprising: a handle (10) being defined by a closure (12); a roller (14) disposed within said enclosure (12); a tape measure (16) being rolled around and in communication with said ruler (14) wherein said tape measure (16) is being configured that it can be pulled out from said enclosure (12); and a means (18) to retrieve said tape measure (16) within said enclosure (12).

2. The multi-purpose shears (100), according to claim 1, wherein a measurement graduation (20) being printed on each said pair of blades (30) of said shears (100).

3. The multi-purpose shears (100), according to claim 1, wherein said measurement graduation (20) being engraved on each said pair of blades (30) of said shears (100). _
