Abstract

The present utility model discloses the formulation of an acid-base indicator from pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) leaves and gumamela (Hibiscus rosaseninsis) flowers comprising the formulation of 40 pcnt pandan leaves, 40 pcnt gumamela flowers containing natural organic compound called anthocyanin and 20 pcnt alcohol. Pan dan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) leaves and gumamela (Hibiscus rosaseninsis) flowers are being used domestically as colorants, which are environmental friendly that offer the same color change effects with commonly used chemicals in most science workshops.
