Abstract

This utility model disclosed a T-type plastic pipe coupling which comprises a stepped T-type tubular body member and a coupling nut member. The stepped T-type tubular body member has three identical externally threaded end portions. Each of the externally threaded end portion has stepped axial bores defining therein inner and outer shoulders. The coupling nut member is provided with internally threaded bore and conically shaped bore defining therein a shoulder. The coupling nut member is adapted to be screwed to each externally threaded end portion of the tubular body member. A conical pipe grip insert is provided in the conical bore. The pipe grip insert has a cut-out portion to allow contraction when pressed along the conical bore and annular pipe gripping ribs at the inner surface thereof. A sleeve pusher is provided in the internally threaded bore. The sleeve pusher has an O-ring attached on the inner end thereof which in turn is seated on the outer shoulder of the tubular body while the outer end of the sleeve pusher is engaged with the shoulder of the coupling nut member.
