The utility model provides an engineered bamboo crossply board obtainable from Schizostachyum lumampao (Blanco) Merr comprising a multiple layers of flattened, the multiple layers being sandwiched between a top layer and a bottom layer made of bamboo halves with nodes, wherein each layer of the multiple of layers is made of flattend bamboo halves from bamboo poles which have been cut into uniform internode lengths with uniform thickness and laid out with grains oriented in the same direction, and which have been glued longitudinally to adjacent bamboo halves; the layers are with uniform/same thickness and each layer glued to the adjacent upper and lower layer; the layers are arranged asuch that adjacent layers have their grains at right angles to each other as to form a crossply board, wherein said board layers are odd-numbered.
