Abstract

This utility model relates to a waste activated carbon reactivator that would convert the waste item into a reusable form, thereby contributing to the general effort of recycling to save the environment from imminent deterioration. The waste activated carbon reactivator generally comprises a shell, a rotating cylinder being accommodated in the shell, a feed hopper having a screw conveyor being provided at one end of the rotating cylinder, a discharge chute being provided at the other end of said rotating cylinder, a steam generating unit being provided at the shell, said rotating cylinder being provided with an annular sleeve at its opposing ends, said annular sleeves resting on their respective coaxial rotatable rollers being provided along a shaft mounted in a pair of spacedly provided pillow blocks at a lower side of said shell, a prime mover being provided at said shaft to thereby effect a rotating power to the rotating cylinder through a power transfer means, and a heat generating source provided within the shell.
