Abstract
Disclosed in the present invention is an uplink traffic fast switching system for a VPLS dual-homing service model, relating to the field of packet transport network technology. The uplink traffic fast switching system comprises an MAC learning module, a fault detection module, an ID updating module and a traffic forwarding module. The MAC learning module reads the MAC address of an RNC and records the value of interface state ID of a first PW interface into an MAC forwarding table. If the fault detection module detects that a second primary AC link is faulty, the ID updating module will update the interface state ID of the first PW interface to be a different ID value. The traffic forwarding module, upon receipt of uplink traffic, determines whether the value of interface state ID of the first PW interface in the MAC forwarding table is consistent with the actual value of interface state ID of the first PW interface, if not, floods the traffic to the first PW interface and a second PW interface. The traffic switching time of the present invention is short, and will not increase linearly along with the number of MAC addresses.
