Abstract

Provided are an air diffusion and filtration apparatus and a wastewater treatment system comprising same, the apparatus comprising: a cylindrical filter pipe including an upper portion having a plurality of holes, and a lower portion disposed below the upper portion, wherein the upper end of the upper portion is closed off and the lower portion has a wastewater inlet port at the lower end thereof; a filter material surrounding the surface of the upper portion of the filter pipe; a body which has a purified water space formed to receive purified water having been filtered through the filter pipe and the filter material, covers the upper portion of the filter pipe, and includes a purified water discharge port at the upper end thereof; a first air supply pipe having a first air inlet port at the upper end thereof and having a lower end integrally connected to at least a part of the lower portion of the filter pipe so as to supply air into the filter pipe; and a second air supply pipe having a second air inlet port at the upper end thereof and having a lower end connected to the body so as to supply air to the body and perform backwashing.
