Abstract
Disclosed is a method for preparing a cross-linked viscosity reducing polycarboxylate superplasticizer, including: (1) preparation of an esterified monomer; (2) copolymerization; and (3) neutralization. The invention first employs an esterification of an allylicalcohol monomer and 2-phosphobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid to prepare an esterified monomer consisting of a mono-esterified product of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid as the majority and small amounts of a di -esterified product and a tri-esterified product of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid. Then the esterified monomer is used to copolymerize with a polyether monomer, 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and an unsaturated acid to prepare a cross-linked viscosity reducing polycarboxylate superplasticizer, thereby introducing phosphate, carboxylate, quaternary ammonium and ester group into the polymer and allowing for slight cross-linking. The invention not only has a viscosity reducing performance, but also has water-reducing, anti-clay and slump retention performances, solving the problems of high viscosity, poor workability and rapid slump loss caused by the high content of clay in the concrete raw materials.
