This invention discloses a new hardness quantitative analysis instrument for materials, including a body (21); a test groove (22) disposed in the body (21); a through cavity (39) disposed at an upper end wall of the test groove (22); five of clamping grooves (43) disposed on an upper end wall of the through cavity (39). Hardness test generally requires professional instruments for measurement and analysis. These instruments are expensive, and when measuring, heat energy will affect the hardness of metal materials. The invention is able to test scratches on surface of tested material in turn by cutting tools with different hardness; in the meantime, the surface of the tested material is washed and cooled by water. The present invention relates to the technical field of material analysis.
