Abstract
A seawater discharge system and method is disclosed. The seawater discharge system of the present invention, which is arranged in an offshore plant, may comprise: a seawater cooling line arranged in the offshore plant to supply and discharge seawater as a cooling source; a seawater heating line arranged in the offshore plant to supply and discharge seawater as a heating source; and a mixing line for connecting the seawater cooling line and the seawater heating line to each other, wherein the system mixes high temperature seawater supplied as the cooling source and then discharged and low temperature seawater supplied as the heating source and then discharged, with each other, and discharges the mixed seawater to the outside of the offshore plant.
