Abstract

A washing machine includes: a washing/spin-drying tub (7) rotatably provided in a water tub; a pulsator (8) rotatably disposed at a central inner bottom portion of the washing/spin-drying tub (7); and a water channel cover (14) provided on an inner wall of the washing/spin-drying tub (7). A pump chamber (19) is formed at a position below the pulsator (8) in the water tub. The water channel cover (14) forms a circulating water channel through which a washing liquid in the pump chamber (19) is circulated to the washing/spin-drying tub (7). The water channel cover (14) includes a side cover portion(15), and an upper cover portion (16) continuous to an upper portion of the side surface cover portion (15) and having a laterally long shape. The upper cover portion (16) has a plurality of discharge ports (11, 12, 13) that supplies a washing liquid into the washing/spin-drying tub (7), the plurality of discharge ports being provided at identical heights in a circumferential direction of the washing/spin-drying tub (7).
