Abstract

The Madson Wind Turbine System (MWTS), with patent US 9,030,039 B2 issued 12 May 2015 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) with a priority filing date of 31 May 2014, embodies a wind turbine system for collecting wind energy, compressing air or gas in multi-stages, storage of highly compressed air or gas, decompression of air or gas in multi-stages, cooling of hot compressed air or gas, heating of cold decompressed air or gas and the generation of electricity. This new invention constitutes a significant improvement of the MWTS thru improved design which provides for: the capability of resisting typhoon or hurricane strength winds, self-erection during construction, self-erection during maintenance, self-regulation during operation, greater efficiency in cooling hot compressed air or gas, greater efficiency in heating cold decompressed air or gas, simplification of design, reduction of components, simplification of construction, lowering of capital cost, lowering of maintenance cost, improvement thru the introduction of new components and other improvements for the generation, storage and dispatch of electricity by the MWTS.
