Abstract

This operation simulator (10) derives process values in response to settings input by a human operator, and simulates the behavior of a device. The operation simulator is provided with: a model storage unit (11) having pre-stored therein a statistical model relating to the event probabilities of process values corresponding to settings; a computational unit (3) for deriving process values on the basis of settings and the statistical model; and a display unit (14) for displaying information relating to process values derived by the computational unit (3).
