Abstract
A gaming system (100) is set forth which includes dealer stations (120) for operating, in a first mode, a physical version of a wagering game and a number of player video terminals (110).The players at the player terminals (110) place wagers on game propositions and a live dealer at the dealer station (120) controls the rendition of and the legitimacy of the outcomes. The wagers are resolved by one or more computer processors (130). In a second mode the system (100) supports a fully automatic, virtual mode where one or more processors (130), without any physical dealer, render and resolve the wagers made by players at the player terminals (11 0). Some, none or all of the dealer stations (120) may be operated in the second mode.
