Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato de deteccion de desgaste para detectar el desgaste de un neumatico de rodillo de molienda, que comprende: una carcasa; un sensor de escaneo soportado dentro de la carcasa; un controlador acoplado al sensor de escaneo y operable para controlar el sensor de escaneo para escanear una seccion de la superficie del neumatico del rodillo de molienda para determinar el desgaste, o ausencia, de esparragos de molienda en el neumatico del rodillo de molienda; y al menos un sensor de alineacion montado dentro de la carcasa operable para detectar una marca de referencia en el rodillo de molienda para determinar una ubicacion relativa o posicion de alineacion del sensor de escaneo con el rodillo de molienda, en donde la marca de referencia es una indentacion o proyeccion en una superficie del rodillo de molienda. La invencion se refiere ademas a un metodo para detectar el desgaste de un neumatico de rodillo de molienda y un aparato de rodillo de molienda que incluye el aparato de deteccion de desgaste mencionado anteriormente.The present invention relates to a wear detection apparatus for detecting the wear of a grinding roller tire, comprising: a casing; a scanning sensor supported within the housing; a controller coupled to the scanning sensor and operable to control the scanning sensor to scan a section of the surface of the grinding roller tire to determine the wear, or absence, of grinding studs on the grinding roller tire; and at least one alignment sensor mounted within the housing operable to detect a reference mark on the grinding roll to determine a relative location or alignment position of the scanning sensor with the grinding roll, wherein the reference mark is an indentation or projection on a surface of the grinding roller. The invention further relates to a method for detecting wear of a grinding roller tire and a grinding roller apparatus including the aforementioned wear detection apparatus.
