Abstract
Un sistema y metodo de monitoreo para una herramienta de equipo de trabajo, preferiblemente una herramienta de contacto con el suelo que comprende elementos de desgaste como un cucharon de excavadora, el sistema/metodo incluye uno o mas sensores montados en el equipo de trabajo y dirigidos hacia la herramienta y un procesador configurado para: recibir datos relacionados con la herramienta desde uno o mas sensores, generar una representacion tridimensional de al menos una porcion de la herramienta utilizando los datos recibidos, comparar la representacion tridimensional generada con una representacion tridimensional generada previamente e identificar uno o mas de desgaste y perdida de al menos una porcion de la herramienta, preferiblemente una porcion del miembro de desgaste, usando la comparacion de la representacion tridimensional generada con la representacion tridimensional generada previamente.
