Abstract
Se divulga un sistema y metodo para clasificar minerales portadores de cobre para seleccionar partes que tienen un contenido de cobre objetivo. El sistema incluye una estacion de analisis y seleccion que incluye un primer analizador de resonancia magnetica que mide el contenido de cobre del mineral de entrada y un desviador controlado para desviar partes del mineral de entrada a una ruta de recoleccion cuando el contenido de cobre alcanza o supera un valor de corte predeterminado. El corte predeterminado se ajusta mediante un controlador en respuesta al primer analizador de resonancia magnetica. Un segundo analizador de resonancia magnetica mide el contenido de cobre del mineral en una ruta de producto. Esa medicion se retroalimenta al controlador para ajustar con precision el valor de corte ajustado anteriormente, arriba o abajo, para optimizar el rendimiento del mineral que tiene el contenido de cobre objetivo. El sistema puede incluir una estacion para dimensionar el mineral de entrada, una estacion para dimensionar el mineral de salida y una estacion para dimensionar los desechos producidos por el sistema.
