Abstract

This project refers to a controlled dosage equipment applied to the disinfection and supply of drinking water, which consists of the union of different components, which interact permanently and constantly, to obtain a disinfected water suitable for human consumption. The components are designed and interconnected, made up of a supply and evacuation chamber, which feeds a homogenization chamber through an interconnection terminal; In the interconnection terminal there is the contact point (water / chlorine) where the dose is discharged through a communicating glass, which is fed by an automatic chlorine dosing controller, then it is released to a discharge chamber which is where it is transfers the chlorinated and homogenized water, from where it continues to lead to the reservoir where it is discharged through the automatic shut-off valve. Among the advantages it presents are; reduction of contact time for effective disinfection, savings in the consumption of the disinfectant input, automation of equipment, risk reduction, safe consumption of drinking water.
