DONDE EL METODO COMPRENDE: a) EXPONER UN LECHO MEZCLADO MOVIL DE PARTICULAS DE MINERAL A ENERGIA MICROONDAS MEDIANTE LA ALTA ENERGIA PULSADA DE MANERA QUE BASICAMENTE TODAS LAS PARTICULAS RECIBAN ALGUNA EXPOSICION A LA EXPOSICION MICROONDAS; Y, b) CONTROLAR LA ENERGIA Y/O DURACION DE LOS PULSOS DE LA ENERGIA MICROONDAS PARA ASEGURAR QUE LAS PARTICULAS INDIVIDUALES NO SE EXPONGAN DEMASIADO. LA ENERGIA MICROONDAS ES AL MENOS 20 KW, Y LA DURACION DE LOS PULSOS DE LA ENERGIA MICROONDAS ES INFERIOR A 1 SEGUNDO; Y EL PERIODO DE TIEMPO ENTRE LOS PULSOS SUCESIVOS CORRESPONDE A 10-20 VECES EL PERIODO DE TIEMPO DEL PULSO.
