Abstract
Power bike recycles the energy dissipated on it by the cycler into electrical energy and stores it in a battery which can be used instantaneously or later for lighting, charging phones, laptops, power fans, serving as a motivating factor to entice people to pedal often, hence. doing more exercise, becoming fit/ healthier and putting electricity in the hands of locals. The power bike uses a dynamo technology system, a 'human dynamo' that converts the mechanical rotation from the cycler into electric power using electromagnetism. Using a flywheel and the pulley system, the rotation per minute is amplified by the ratio 1:25 to increase the amount of electric power generated by an electric motor. We use efficient DC (direct current) appliances as opposed to standard AC (alternating current) appliances to minimize energy loss while eliminating the need of an Inverter which would've increased the overall cost. It can be locked and opened using a remote cellular connection (2g or an SMS backup connectivity).
Description
This invention is ail about converting the mechanical energy/ rotation initiated by humans, animais and objects into electricity. The DYNAMO POWER BIKE is a stationary bike with a flywheel that increases the rotation per minute (rpm) needed to produce electricity that can power a rural home for at least I2hrs from only 30 to 60 minutes of pedalling. It has a battery that stores the electricity produced. It produces direct current (DC) that can be used on direct current appliances like bulbs; rechargeable lambs etc. It is also built with games, blenders, smart devices in order to improve the user expérience and scope of usage. We hâve the classic and the Virtual bike. The classic version is stationary exercise bikes designed with the technology that help produce and stores electricity from the effort of the user. It cornes with a rechargeable and dismountable battery that stores the electricity produced. The virtual bike has everything that the classic version has in addition to a I5inch touch screen consul loaded with pre-recorded virtual spinning classes from well-trained tutors, 3D gamified videos illustrating topics in biology, civic éducation geography, ail choreographed and designed to help the user(s) reach their energy production and fitness goals during each exercise/ spinning session. We hâve also developed a hybrid of both versions that hamesses solar energy using solar panels during the day and stores in the same battery as the bike. The DYNAMO POWER KITS is the same technology but can be attached to the wheels of horse/donkey carts, moving (cargo bikes, sports bikes) and stationary bicycles to convert the mechanical energy (during rotation of the wheels) into electricity.
There exist many alternative sources of electrical power like the hydroelectricity power génération, solar energy, nuclear power génération, hydrocarbons (from fuel), and wind turbines. There also exist stationary exercise bikes and movable bikes.
Our invention is a “smart dynamo power bike,” with a multipurpose electricity-producing dynamo kit that produces electricity through the efforts of the user. There exist other technologies that aid the cycler to exercise on a stationary bike, some technologies also use the dynamo System to produce electricity, but no one has combined ail these into one stationary power bike. Our bike is specially formulated with the technology to produce and store the electricity produced from the workout of the cycler. It also marges gym quality equipment with expert instruction, uniquely effective motivation, data and metrics, and more classes, teachers and options on a touch screen.
The dynamo power bike recycles the energy dissipated on it by the cycler into electrical energy and stores it in a battery (6) which can be used instantaneously or later for lighting, charging phones, laptops, power fans, while the dynamo power kit uses the same technology but for the fact that it can be used on horse carts and any other bicycle to produce electricity.
- The minimal 4’ x 2’ footprint (9) allows for easy placement in any room making it firm and fitted on the floor and very stable to withstand ail the pressure and movements from the cycler. The height of the seat (8) and the handles (7) are made of a sleek carbon steel frame that offers customizable settings for the optimal comfort of every rider (fits 4 feet tall up to 6 feet+).
-There is a single wheel, the fly wheel (3) also known as the gravity accélération wheel which is attached to the pedals (!) of the bike (figure l). It helps in increasing the rotation per minute thereby amplifying the effort of the cycler and simultaneously increases the amount of electricity produced by the electric generator (5). The near-silent belt drive (4) Jets you ride quietly anywhere and at any time of the day.
- The electric generator then produces electricity through electromagnetism from its rotation and stores in the battery.
- The battery stores the electrical energy produced from the electric motor for subséquent use.
- The easy-to-use, immersive HD touch screen (7) is filled with cinematic ultra-engaging spinning classes that will help you reach your fitness and electricity production goals by top Tutors anytime anywhere. It tracks and shows your progress with in-depth ride metrics to help you reach your goals, while viewing real time stats while you ride including cadence, amount of volts / watts produced / stored, résistance and heart rate. It cornes with head phones, enough music with prerecorded spinning classes.
- The chain (2) links the pedal of the bike to the flywheel while in the horse cart; the métal shaft (10) links the two wheels. As the horse is pulling the wheels, it tums the métal shaft which in tum, tums the electric generator connected with a belt.
-It has a pod that uses a SIM card and can also be connected to WIFI. Through a 2g or SMS backup connectivity technology, the electric motor and the wheel can be stopped and tracked using GPS with an SMS text message.
-The electric current produce powers direct current appliances but an alternator converts the direct current into alternating current.
-The touch screen is embedded with virtual metrics to enable users to ride by number, rhythms to help users pedal to the beat, theme of work hard play hard, live DJs, pro cyclists and scenic rides._jL
Claims (7)
1. The Dynamo power bike is unique because it consist of a touch screen consul loaded with pre-recorded virtual spinning classes, animated virtual illustration of educational subjects, virtual map rides, led display that displays distance, heart rate, voltage, watts, speed, lasting time and calories, eiectric generator, battery, flywheel, a pulley system that connects the flywheel to the eiectric generator using a belt, adjustable seats and handle bars, pedals, clamped foot and chain drive mechanism (smooth and quiet outlets).
2. A stationary exercise bike that recycles the energy dissipated on it through an eiectric generator by the cycler into electrical energy and stores it. in a battery which can be used instantaneously or later for lighting, charging phones, laptops, power fans and other electrical appliances.
3. A stationary exercise bike with high Définition fiat screen nionitor above the handlebars. It uses SIM and Wi-JFi to stream both “live” classes in real time, scenic rides and an unbelievable treasure trove of past spinning classes on-demand.
4. A Wheel generator that can be attached to or replace the wheels of any bicycle and horse cart to produce electricity from pedalling and movement of the user respectively.
5. A stationary exercise bike with an electronic control dial that displays your exact résistance from 0-100, as vvell as your cadence (pedalling speed), calories burned, distance “ridden.” and total power output, that is electricity produced and stored (a combination of your speed and résistance).
6. Removable touch screen consul that uses SIM and WIFI and can be attached to any bike to stream both “live” classes in real time, scenic rides and an unbelievable treasure trove of past classes on-demand.
7. Reader rack that hold books, tablet, phones, on the bike while you pedal.
