The paper er is generally made up of a ing head and a paper barrel. The ing head generally ses a rotating electric machine and sharp blades that cut paper sheets into paper chips and strips. The paper barrel receives and holds the shredded paper chips and strips .
A known paper shredder is disclosed in Taiwan Patent Publication No. 333859, which provides a shock-absorbing and sound-reducing structure of a shredding device of a paper shredder and is generally made up of a shredding device (the shredding head) and a paper barrel. The patent is structured such that the shredding device shreds paper sheets into paper chips and strips and the paper barrel ts and holds the shredded paper chips and strips. However, when the paper barrel gets full of paper chips, there might be an issue of paper jamming, so that operation can be resumed only after the paper barrel has been cleared. During the process of ng the paper barrel, the shredded paper chips and strips may fly away randomly, leading to a difficulty for cleaning.
Y OF THE INVENTION To overcome the above m, the present ion provides a heavy-duty household paper shredder, which ses: a shredding head, a paper barrel, a paper pressing board, and a itting assembly. The shredding head is provided with an opening, a paper feeding hole, a sensor, and a driver. The driver is in electrical connection with the sensor. The paper barrel is formed with a receiving space. The receiving space is in communication with the opening of the shredding head. The paper pressing board is arranged in the receiving space of the paper barrel. The paper pressing board is formed with at least one gap. The transmitting assembly is connected between the driver and the paper pressing board. The transmitting assembly is drivable by the driver to drive the paper pressing board to move in a predetermined direction.
Preferably, the itting assembly comprises two extension rods, and the two extension rods are respectively arranged at two sides of the paper pressing board.
Preferably, the paper pressing board is formed with a plurality of gaps that are parallel arranged.
Preferably, the transmitting ly comprises a fixing piece and an extension rod body.
Preferably, the sensor a non-contact thickness sensor, and the non-contact thickness sensor comprises one of an infrared thickness sensor, an ultrasonic thickness , and a laser thickness sensor.
To use the present invention, the fixing pieces of the transmitting assembly mount the paper pressing board in the receiving space of the paper barrel and the paper pressing board is movable in the ermined direction (namely a direction toward a bottom of the paper barrel). A used paper sheet is fed and introduced through paper feeding hole of the shredding head, and is cut and ed by the shredding head into small paper chips and strips. The paper chips and strips pass through the gap of the paper pressing board to be ed in the receiving space of the paper barrel. The sensor is operable to detect variation of thickness of paper chip pile inside the paper barrel, such that when a ermined thickness is reached, the driver drives the transmitting assembly to cause a movement of the extension rods of the itting assembly to drive the paper pressing board to move in the predetermined direction to press down the paper chips and strips received in the paper barrel into a compact block in order to reduce the amount of space that the paper chips and strips occupies inside the paper barrel. Further, the paper chips and strips that are set in the block form are relatively easy to clean by directly removing the block of the paper chips and strips BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS is a perspective view showing a heavy-duty household paper shredder according to the present invention. is a perspective view showing the heavy-duty household paper shredder according to the present invention in an assembled condition. is a tic view illustrating a first operation condition of the heavy - duty household paper shredder according to the t invention. is a schematic view illustrating a second operation condition of the heavy - duty household paper shredder according to the present invention.
