Prior art U-shaped cloths frames are generally made from continuous tubing with bends to from corners, this makes for a larger main element which adds to transport costs. Herein is provided a corner assembly for a clothes line frame formed from frame members telescopically extending to engage into tabs of a corner piece. The corner piece provides a contiguous surface which is aesthetically pleasing and conceals metal fasteners which provide strength for the joins. The frame can be shipped as components and readily assembled on site.
