Abstract

A screw having a driving head (2) of polygonal form that engages a socket with a wedging action is disclosed. The head is tapered so as to mate with a wedging fit with a drive socket of corresponding form to prevent wobble of the screw during application. The matching socket is also disclosed. The screw is about 95mm long and longer as required for roofing.
