Abstract

A blank for forming a container including a series of five panels each with opposing flaps is described. The configuration seeks to minimise the amount of time spent applying fastenings, e.g. glue, during the construction of the box as well as reducing the volume of fastening(s) required. When folded, the flaps and the sides create a base and walls, forming an approximately rectangular box suitable for encasing six-packs of beverages or other objects. The side walls are inclined at deformation sections (508) and the blank is enclosed at an overlapping section (18).
