Abstract

Disclosed is a method of commissioning a lighting system implemented on a DALI network. The method comprises the automated steps of: (a) Discovering all of the DALI interface devices (30) in the system. (b) Commissioning each DALI line (40) in the system by determining the addresses of each device (50) on the DALI line (40), assigning addresses to each device (50) that is un-addressed and resolving any conflicts in the addresses of each device (50). (c) Configuring each device (50).
