Abstract

Disclosed is a method for storing and picking in accordance with the goods-to-man principle including the steps of storing containers directly one on top of another as a stack in the storage area, removing the complete stack from storage as a whole in an unsorted manner and providing the complete stack at a picking station for removing the articles, as per an order, from the uppermost container of the stack, where the required container is moved beforehand to the top of the stack by rearranging the stack.
