Abstract

608631 Disclosed are a drinking bottle (100) and a method for providing a liquid with desired quality in a drinking bottle (100) for consumption. Drinking bottles generally only contain one chamber. It is useful for a drinking bottle that contains two chambers to prevent a user from having to bring multiple premixed mixtures which are consumed when training or participating in sporting competitions. The drinking bottle (100) comprising at least one liquid reservoir (120, 140); at least one replaceable substrate ampoule (200) and a means for breaking a liquid proof seal. The substrate ampoule (200) comprises a drinking tube (210) and a drinking nipple. The liquid reservoir (120) further comprises a mixing chamber (140) and a check valve is disposed between the reservoir chamber (120) and mixing chamber (140) to provide doses of liquid.
