Abstract

This disclosure relates to a connection element for effecting connection between a vehicle component or accessory and a vehicle, the connection element comprising at least first and second connection points, and means integral with the connection element which are adapted to absorb tensile impact loading imparted upon the element via means other than lengthening of the connection element solely.
