Abstract

A composition for the detection of leaks from a hermetic refrigerant system, such as refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, comprising a uniformly homogenous liquid phase composition of: a liquid non-CFC refrigerant and a UV fluorescent dye predissolved in a solvent (other than said refrigerant or any other refrigeration system lubricant).
