Abstract

A scaffolding apparatus for use on a building during its construction, said scaffolding apparatus comprising a plurality of fixing bracket members each said bracket member having a pair of elongated angled members aligned above and below respectively of the longitudinal axis of said fixing bracket member the lower angled member being adapted to be fixed abutting against and extending along the longitudinal axis of the outwardly facing side of said stud with the upper angled member being adapted to be fixed abutting against and extending along the longitudinal axis of the inwardly facing side of the stud, both said elongate angled members being fixed in a vertically elongate orientation to at least one side of said stud member, wherein said plurality of fixing bracket members are arranged when installed, to receive planks on top to provide a platform and have at their free ends a stop means to prevent planks from falling off when in use.
