Abstract
An aiming device for a laser sight weapon includes three modes whereby the target can be illuminated by the laser beam at wide divergence, identified by the beam at intermediate divergence or sighted by the beam at narrow divergence. To change the beam divergence between the different modes, a diffraction grating fastened to the aiming device can be moved (flipped or rotated) into or out of the beam.
