Abstract

A comb assembly to be mounted on a body 11 of a handpiece to cut hair, has a comb 12, clamp portion 19 to secure the comb to body 11 and a threaded member 22 having a shaft 26 which passes through clamp portion 19 to threadingly engage with body 11 so that upon tensioning of threaded member 22, comb 12 is clamped to body 11 by clamp portion 19. Threaded member 22 has a head 28 engaged within a recess of clamp portion 19 so that head 28 does not protrude below clamp portion 19.
