Abstract

Et system for merking og overvåkning av undervanninstallasjoner (12) som.for eksempel ventiler som benyttes ved produksjon av hydrokarboner omfatter et dreiemomentverktøy (10) med et lese/skrivehode (18) for induktiv samvirkning med en dataminnekapsel (16) på en ventilinstallasjon (12), hvilken kapsel (16) lagrer data for identifikasjon av ventilen og status for denne. Når dreiemomentverktøyet (10) er i operativt inngrep med spindelen (30) (eller en overgang) på ventilen (12) vil lese/skrivehodet (18) induktivt føre strøm til kapselen (16) og induktivt motta identifikasjonsdata fra kapselen (16) såvel som betjeningsdata fra tidligere betjening, og disse data blir sendt til en konsoll (26) på en ROV for på denne måte å sikre korrekt identifikasjon av ventilen (12) og riktig påfølgende betjening med verktøyet (10).
