Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for signalering og en sender (100), som benyttes i et digitalt radiosystem hvor signalene som sendes, omfatter data og signalering. Senderen (100) omfatter en styringsanordning (104) for å plassere signaleringen i et signal som skal sendes, på grunnlag av styringsinformasjon som er adskilt fra dataene, og for å hindre at styringsinformasjonen blir plassert i signalet som skal sendes, idet styringsinformasjonen blir benyttet til å administrere signaleringen.
