Abstract

Gjenvunnet varmeenergi med etterbrenner/varmegjenvinningsenheten (E) benyttes fortrinnsvis for drift av kompressorutstyret (CrC5).With a view to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, especially CO2, hot exhaust gas (G) from internal combustion engines, especially gas turbines used on oil recovery installations, is injected into the oil reservoir, after first passing an afterburner / heat recovery unit (E) and compressor equipment (C, -C5) where the O2 content of the exhaust gas is reduced to the desired level. The recovered heat energy with the afterburner / heat recovery unit (E) is preferably used for the operation of the compressor equipment (CrC5).
