Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår et celledelt mobilstasjonsystem hvor en avgjørelse om overlevering (handover) baseres på måling i en mobilstasjon av nedadgående sendinger i en betjenende celle (S) og naboceller (A). Tilstøtende celler er typisk anordnet for å være delvis overlappende (OA), for å sikre at det er en tilstrekkelig tidsperiode for mottaking og dekoding av nabocellenes nedadgående sendinger, samt for en avgjørelse om overlevering. I noen av cellene (S) kan det være terrenghindringer, bygninger, tunneler eller lignende hindringer (23) som skygger for nabocellens (A) nedadgående sending, slik at overlappingen (OA) ikke er til- strekkelig mellom en slik celle og en nabocelle, i samsvar med oppfinnelsen er det tilveiebragt en forsterker eller en antenne (22) for å utvide dekningsområdet (A') for den nedadgående sending i den skyggede nabocellen (A) i en slik celle (S), for å tillate en fremskutt sending og dekoding av den nedadgående sendingen i den skyggede nabocellen.
