Abstract

Lineær akustisk antenne (10) med en rekke hydrofoner (H^ - H¿) og beregnet for nedføring av en undervannsbåt eller et overflatefartøy. Antennen (10) omfatter en hoveddel med N hydrofoner (Hj - H¿) med omnidirek- sjonell karakteristikk, og en tilleggsdel A med to hydrofoner AG, AD med retnings- karakteristikk som en kardioide. Tilleggs- delen A brukes for å utelukke tvetydighet ved retningsbestemmelse (høyre/venstre). I en beregningskrets (34) beregnes kohe- rens mellom de signaler som kommer inn til hoveddelen, og to signaler D(t) og G(t) for hhv en høyre og en venstre kanal, mottatt av tilleggsdelen A, og ved en sanunenlikning mellom koherensverdiene finner man den største og kan derved slutte seg til hvilken side en kilde (22) ligger på i forhold til antennens midtakse (12). Anvendelse særlig for slepeantenner.
