Abstract

The protection device is for a three-phase transformer, each transformer phase having a limiter or fuse (6) covered by an outer cover and connected across the phase input and output wires (8,9). Each output wire has a protruding tab connection (21). Each limiter has a mechanism moving an external arm (14). The arm trips a contact section (16) with an inner spring, which comes down to short out the other two phase connections.
