Abstract
Det beskrives en fremgangmåte for den kontinuerlige fremstillingen av et termoplastisk produkt som har orienterte komponenter. Den termoplastiske forbindelsen kan omfatte fyllstoff. Produktet som er fremstilt ifølge frem- gangsmåten kan ha fyllstoffkonsentrasjoner så høye som 75%. Produktet lages ved en ekstruderings- prosess som orienterer den termoplastiske polymer- en og fyllstoffet, når det er tilstede, i lengderetning- en under ekstrudering, og som forhindrer relaksa- sjon av den termoplastiske polymeren og derved i alt vesentlig opprettholder den bibragte orientering- en. Med hensyn på den komplette, skummede kjer- neutførelsen, utformes dysesammenstillingen for å lette orienteringen av polymermolekylene og fyll- stoffpartiklene, når de er tilstede, for å fremstille en orientert overflate, for å danne hulrom i den termo- plastiske forbindelsen, for å skumme termoplastisk forbindelse inn i hullrommet ved hjelp av skumm- ingsmiddelet, og for å kjøle den termoplastiske forbindelsen for å danne et komplett, skummet produkt.A process for the continuous manufacture of a thermoplastic product having oriented components is described. The filler may be an inorganic filler such as mica, talc, glass and short carbon fibers or organic cellulose-containing materials extracted from wood / forest by-products or agricultural by-products. The product prepared according to the method may have filler concentrations as high as 75%. The product is made by an extrusion process which orientates the thermoplastic polymer and the filler, when present, longitudinally during extrusion, which prevents relaxation of the thermoplastic polymer and thereby substantially maintains the orientation provided. . With respect to the complete foamed core embodiment, the nozzle assembly is designed to facilitate the orientation of the polymer molecules and filler particles, when present, to produce an oriented surface, to form voids in the thermoplastic compound, to foam. thermoplastic compound into the cavity by the foaming agent, and to cool the thermoplastic compound to form a complete foamed product.
