Abstract

The cable conduit element is provided by a U-shaped profile (1) with a base (2) and opposing sidewalls (3), each having a narrow top lip (4) projecting inwards parallel to the base. The profile receives a pair of coupling elements (10), for interconnecting adjacent conduit elements, each fitted parallel to one of the sidewalls between the top lip and an elongate rail (5) projecting from the surface of the base. The coupling elements have foot and head rails (12,13) and a central tongue, defined by a U-shaped cut-out, with a nose at its free end. The rear surface of each coupling element may be provided with stiffening ribs.
