Abstract

The oil component preferably has a content of aromatics of 5-30% by weight. The compound has high viscosity at low temperature and is a thin liquid at 40-80 ° C. The gas absorption capacity of the composition is high and they are particularly useful as an insulation component in paper-wrapped cables such as high voltage direct current (HVDC) cables.
