Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning er tilveiebragt for å gjenvinne og følge bærebølgen i et QAM kommunikasjonssystem, endog under kraftige interferensforhold. Et delsett av faste punkter (38) defineres på et ideelt konstellasjonsmønster 830) for sammenligning med datapunktene i et mottatt signal. Delsettet innbefatter samtlige av punktene (38) som skjermes av n radier (40, 42, 44, 46) (f.eks. de fire diagonalene) i konstellasjonsmønsteret (30). Ytterligere punkter langs omkretsen av konstellasjonsmønsteret (36a-h) kan også tilveiebringes i delsettet. Datapunkter som mottas via bærebølgen korreleres med de faste punktene (38) i delsettet for å generere et feilsignal som indikerer en faseforskjell mellom de faste punktene i delsettet og de mottatte datapunktene som korreleres med disse.
