Abstract

; En anordning for å påvise og analysere residuell olje i borkjerner er innrettet for å belyse prøver (4a) fra borkjerner med kortbølget lys for å frembringe eksiterte elektronovergan-ger i kjemiske komponenter av eventuell olje i prøvene, og derved påvirke disse komponenter til å avgi fluorescenslys med større bølgelengde enn det eksiterende lys. Anordningen omfat-ter en optisk eksitasjonsfiberkabel (2a) samt en optisk emi-sjonsfiberkabel (2b) som hver er rettet med sin ene ende mot et utvalgt område av borkjerneprøven. Senderutstyr (lc,ld,le) er anordnet for å frembringe og avgi til eksita-sjonsfiberkabelens annen ende monokromatisk kortbølget lys for overføring gjennom denne fiberkabel (2a) og bestråling av. nevnte område for eksitering av eventuelle oljekomponenter : innenfor området til å avgi fluorescenslys som kan opptas av emisjonsfiberkabelens nevnte ene ende for overføring gjennom denne fiberkabel (2b. Mottagerutstyr (lg,lh,li,lj,lk) er I anordnet ved emisjonsfiberkabelens annen ende for å ta imot. det overførte fluorescenslys gjennom emisjonsfiberkabelen (2b) samt innrettet for å måle lysets relative intensitet og analysere dets emisjonsspektrum, for derved å bestemme den påviste oljes mengde og art innenfor området.
