Abstract
Fremgangsmåten gjør det mulig å fremstille en støtte-skiktet leire (PILC) ved å bringe leiren i kontakt med en støttende grunnsubstens og tilføre energi til reaksjons-blandingen for å interkalatere grunnsubstensen inn i leiren. Den støttende grunnsubstens er et elektrisk nøytralt organometallisk molekyl med en karbon-metallbinding som er mottakelig for protonangrep hvorved protonene avgitt fra setene for Bronsted-surheten i leiren spalter karbon-metallbindingen og gir et organisk fragment av grunnsub-stansen og et metallholdig støttefragment. En fortrukket støttegrunnsubstens er PhSnCl.
